Quaker Quest

READING: Reverse Hustings for General Election 31/05/2017 - 7.30 to 9.30pm

All members of the public are invited to attend this free event
The team of Quakers coordinating this ‘reverse hustings’ want the event to be an opportunity for all candidates standing in both Reading constituencies to hear local views. After each candidate has introduced themselves and their policy priorities if elected, the audience will be invited to comment on four issues relating to sustainability and security:
 Local homelessness and local housing
 Integration and isolation in our community
 Energy and our environment
 Creating a fairer society
